The silver plated Libellule (French for dragonfly) vase is emblazoned with the winged insect and is a reproduction of a decorative piece shown at the 1889 World’s Fair. At that time. many of Christofle’s creations were inspired by flora and fauna.
The Libellule Vase is a re-edition of an original Piece presented for the first time at the 1889 Universal Exhibition
